Those of you associated with BYU somehow, will appreciate this video. It was so funny!

James and the giant bears
Ok, first of all, will that title James and the giant... ever get tiring, I think not.
As most of you know, James attends a daycare every day. In the daycare, there is also a preschool, and they often go on field trips. Yesterday they went to the Bean Museum, which is could also be called the Taxidermy of Wild Animals museum. James has been there a few times before, and really loves it. He is in to animals these days. But, really, who couldn't go for a giant stuffed kodiak bear from Alaska. It is jaw dropping when you see how large it is. Anyway, that's beside the point. While there, Sheri, the babysitter was able to take a video of him grunting at the bears (not the kodiak bear). I am glad someone is able to video my child, since Aho and I never do. Are we bad parents?

Cupcakes
The other day I was watching TV surprise, surprise) and I saw a commercial for Cold Stone. What are these new cupcakes they are advertising?!?! When did they come about, and how did I not know about it. I think James and I will have to go there tonight while Aho is working.
What is this new craze with cupcakes? In the BYU Daily Universe (campus newspaper) their cover story was about the cupcake craze. I don't get it. Never been a fan if cake, so why cupcakes. There is even a website devoted to Utahns that love cupcakes. Odd! With the exception of cold stone cupcakes, I don't think I will jump on the cupcake train anytime soon. (But all this talk really makes me want one. Cold stone, here I come!)

I'm bad at blogging
So, I'm bad at blogging, it's no secret. Why? I don't know. I don't want to take the time? I feel like I have nothing to blog about? Aho always tells me, "you need to post a picture." I said to him, "we don't take pictures, how can I post pictures we don't have." So, that makes me think, I need to take more pictures of James. Doing what? Going to daycare? Getting ready for bed? Those are the only times of the day I see him. What's picture worthy about that?
So, an update on us. Since we have been back from Tonga one of us has been sick. Can't wait for the warmer weather! It will fix our health and the mold in our apartment will go away. Needless to say, I will spend all summer looking for a new place that won't have mold growing. Now, I do have a picture of that, which I may post later. So, that's all that's going on with us.
I did decide I needed to change my background to St. Pat's. I will do it again in a month to Easter. That's probably the best blogging I can do. The other thing is, I can't get my picture centered in my header. Any ideas? And, does anybody know how to add my own fonts. These fonts are boring. (Like I care, I never look at my own blog!)

Poor James
James has had a hard week. Last Thursday he started coughing, and I, less of the worrier, just blew it off as a cold (which it is). The cough just kept getting worse and his nose started dripping the green goopy stuff. I could tell he was congested, so we started the humidifier. We had spent the weekend at my parents and my sister and her kids came over Monday. She was saying she thought her youngest had pink eye. So, Thursday James wakes up and his eye is all goopy, so I call Sheila and she said Cooper didn't have pink eye but starts telling me the woes of an ear infection. I kind of shrugged it off, but was thinking about it later when Aho calls me to tell me he didn't take James to the babysitter because he kept throwing up that morning (which had been happening all week.) He was throwing up, a bit wobbly, and SUPER fussy. So, knowing he was congested, and it had no where else to drain but down throught the ears, I decided to take him to the Dr. So, he does have two ear infections, on top of having the worse cough I have ever heard. I hurried Thursday and got his two doses of amoxicillin in him. It took til tonight, but he has been behaving so much better. He is sleeping as I type and has been down for over an hour, which he would not do the last week. (His sleeping habits were horrible!)
So, the point of all this is, those of you with kids, it's hard to tell if they have an ear infection, they don't always pull on their ears. It's hard to know sometimes!

Cube Steak
I have a recipe in a cookbook that calls for cube steak. I have just subsituted the cheap steaks when I make it, but I thought this time, I would actually try cube steak. I have not had cube steak before, at least in my adult years that I remember, and wasn't sure what I would get. (Aho thought it was ground beef...thought I was making spaghetti when I pulled it out and told me he wasn't hungry!) It was very good! I was pleasantly surprised. James liked it to, despite his not feeling well (another blog...). I think I will cook it again, and would recommend it to everyone!

Tonga
There is so much to say, but who wants to read it. Basically, we had a great time. We didn't have to lift a finger. Aho's mom said we were on vacation, so we didn't have to do anything. It was fabulous, so relaxing. We got to go see all the sites, go to the beach, have great food, fly 7 flights (in which James was fabulous), enjoy a 10 hour layover in Fiji on the way back (we spent some time driving around, we should have picked up a tour for the day, I think we would have enjoyed it a littl more). We got to spend time with and get to know Aho's family. They are great, and I miss them. We had a wonderful time. A few people have asked me, could I live there? I told Aho I could, as long as I have an air conditioner. It was super hot. Aho said he prefered the cold and snow to that hot and humid! A few pics to show how much we enjoyed ourselves:
Pretty beach
What a beautiful background...This is in Fiji somewhere (we got more mosquito bites during these few minutes than the whole two weeks in Tonga!)
